I keep returning to the difference between Deep Summer and Soft Winter in everyday light. Similar cool shades begin to overlap when I compare them in person. I first set up a small comparison in indirect daylight. Then I removed makeup and bright accessories so they would not influence the result. The darkest drapes felt dramatic, yet not every one looked relaxed in daylight. The quieter blue and berry options seemed gentler, yet I do not trust one impression. My checklist records contrast, visible texture, and whether my eyes look clearer. A simple color analysis could give me another way to compare those observations before I label anything. I would treat any result as a starting point rather than a verdict. What has helped you distinguish a deep cool palette from a softer cool one? I would appreciate approaches that are realistic outside a studio. A small, repeatable process feels more useful than chasing a perfect label immediately. Repeated observations across ordinary days should be more useful than one flattering photograph. I would be grateful for any experience-based suggestions.
